Todd’s career path has been anything but traditional. As an internationally ranked athlete, Todd was exposed to the world of sports marketing and the late 80’s BOOM of the snowboard industry. Riding the wave (literally) Todd gained early experience in product development, promotions and a burgeoning entrepreneurial spirit.

Prompted by this experience, Todd delved in to the world of business and marketing much the way he had in his competitive career; with enthusiasm and the desire for success.  First working on the agency side, Todd moved “in-house” working through the ranks of marketing and sales obtaining the critical general management skills necessary for aiding in the creation of his own company, EventSmiths, in 1999.  From health food to high-tech, B2B to B2C, Todd has managed everything from product launches to marketing and sales integration efforts.

Working with both employers and clients from such a wide range of industries has given Todd a unique experience that allows him to transfer creative problem solving and knowledge from one industry to another. Industries experiences include high-tech, health food, quick-serve, financial and sporting goods.

Having owned and operated his own business, Todd also has the broader experience of general business management, operational know-how, business development, sales and the personal drive to succeed.

Combined, these experiences provide a powerful, and valuable, collection of skills and business knowledge.
